Dang! I can't believe one week has passed! Am heading home tomorrow.... sigh.

But as I tell my brothers.. it's just a 'two-week business trip to KL before I come back home to Melbourne for Raya!' heheheh.

Have had a wonderful time here, despite not actually doing anything holiday-ish or touristy! But anyway, my main reason for coming was to see my brothers and sister-in-law, so spending the past week with them have been great! Feel sad about leaving, but am consoling myself with the thought of coming back here for Raya.

The Snow Patrol concert is definitely a plus point! I can't believe Gary Lightbody was just a few feet away from me. Their performance was a blast.

Oh... and I couldn't have had a better final night here:
Amir and I 'gatecrashed' the Silverchair and Powderfinger concert tonight and managed to catch their final encore perfomrnace bohaha!

I absolutely love Discover Magazine's series of '20 Things You Didn't Know About... '  articles and have been reading through them whenever I could squeeze in the time (or sneak it in during dazed-out moments at work haha).

One particular article that stood out and made me go 'waaaaat???' is the '20 Things You Didn't Know About Nothing' write-up. Try read it and tell me if you don't slap your forehead when you get to item no.20. Hahaha.

Have had non-stop queries from many people as to what my plans for Merdeka are. Haven't got anything planned, really! Going away for the weekend on a short-distance road trip with my bestest friends Aza, Lia, and Dona, and that's about it. Nak relax jer this weekend.

One should really reconsider the pros and cons of being social, when one starts to get too many events, happenings, and invites that one ends up feeling extremely torn between choosing which one to accept/attend, and feeling very, very, very guilty turning down friends.

Mood: Flustered and confused

...watching (more like drooling over) Logan Huntzberger whilst slurping a huge handful of mini marshmallows dunked in a steaming hot mug of delicious hot chocolate.

One of the songs currently looping (and looping, and looping, and looping) in my playlist just 'cuz I really like it and totally relate to it: Gotta credit Kysern who got me listening to Mute Math after he commented that their drummer was crazy wicked. He is. And I like how the singer sorta reminds of Sting... like if Sting was born 20 years later and he'd set up a band he'd sound like this. Heh. Oh yeah the band covered the Transformers song for the movie. I didn't know that. I'm at a point in my life where I'm very out of touch with current events.

Am at the office. Woke up today with a bad sore throat and this horrible throbbing on the bridge of my nose, right up to my temples. Ugh. I hope I don't come down with flu or anything.

Friday night: Bar Savanth for Martin's 25th birthday party, lovingly organized by girlfie Lavinia

Saturday daytime: Stayed in bed all day to finish Deathly Hollows

Saturday night: Laundry Bar with Eema to catch Bittersweet and this other French band... left halfway to head to Midvalley where we met up with Muna and watched Rush Hour 3 with Hairie, Lala, Abbas and his girlfie Nabila. Laughed our heads off during the movie. Eema and Muna followed me back to Shah Alam and slept over to keep me company. My parents are in Melbourne and I don't like being in that big house alone at night...

Sunday daytime: Slept and slacked half the day away. The three of us were finally forced to shower and go out when we got reaaally hungry. Hehe. Had lunch at 4pm *grin*. Then went to Low Yat Plaza. Came back to Shah Alam. Watched Friends on DVD. Went back out for supper at 10pm, then I drove back to Putrajaya whilst Eema and Muna made their way home. Thanks baaabesss for keeping me company!! Mwuahs!

I had yet another weird dream last night! It started off with me walking around a shopping mall by myself. And then suddenly someone held me by the hand and started pulling me out, and I turned to see that it was Ben Affleck! He kept saying to me, "I have to get you out of here.. this building is dangerous! I'll save your life, follow me". And he was dressed in the space suit he wore in Armageddon... sungguh hero!

I followed him out onto the street, and we climbed into, wait for this.... a HOVERCRAFT! And the hovercraft started moving across the road and into the water in a bay area and we sped off into the sunset, him hugging me and keeping me safe.

I woke up laughing. Hahaha. Hovercraft!!!! WTF!

Wahey. I've just returned from an awesome trip to Jakarta and Bandung. Went on Saturday, came back yesterday. Need to catch up with my picture-uploads to get things updated!

Oh yeah and last week I had one of my weird dreams again. In this one, I dreamt that I was walking around Bangkok when I bumped into Omar Rodriquez (of Mars Volta, yes). He was crying by the roadside... to cut a long dream short, I asked him if I could help and he told me a game of hockey would really cheer him up. So we went to this field and we played hockey, just me and him. And it made him really happy. Hahaha.

God loves me. I don't know why, it's incomprehensible to me too... but yeah. It's been a hectic, hectic week at work, and I've been hitting some extremely challenging bumps here and there and just as I am on the verge of an anxiety attack (it's currently 11pm, I'm still at work...) when an email comes through which is akin to Jude Law swooping in and giving me mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to help revive me.

The email actually delivers bad news, which effects in overall good turning point to the project I'm working on. It's a tad complicated and involves a bit of background story-telling, and I'm too tired to go into details...

But all I'm saying is... wow. Allah swt loves me and saved me. How else can you explain an email coming in at the 11th hour (literally pulak tu!) turning my entire project around? Tsk tsk. Woah.

I can go home and sleep without a worry in my mind now!

Wow, I've abandoned my blog yet again... *sniff* But I'm back! Yes it's true, I've been quite busy. But lazy is also a contributing factor hehe *smameful*. Also, I think I spend a majority of my time online reading other people's blogs and websites instead of posting to mine. There's so much happening in this world.. how the heck are we all supposed to have time to absorb everything?! Hehe. I mean, not only do I want to catch up with my friends' entries and posts (although I'm known to be a tad lazy in the commenting and feedback-ing sense.. sorry peeps.. stalking your blogs is my preference!), I also want to read up on all the current-issues blogs too. And then there's work. Which I hardly do. Haha. Kidding ;)

Speaking of work.. starting tomorrow, my boss will be off work for a couple of weeks which leaves me to pick things up. I'm not looking forward to it... am scared I can't cope. Aih. I hope it'll all be okay and I can do my job well.

Coming back on track. Ooooh, track! I'd just returned from the Sepang F1 circuit. Yeah, surprise surprise, I went to watch it live this year! Mak Ngah gave me two tickets, and I offered them to Hairie (since he's the race-freak). Went with him and he tried to convert me into a speed-loving enthusiast too :p. I had a fun day though, thanks to that silly boy. Mengarut random ngan dia adalah amalan hari Ahad sungguh best!

Dang, now it's dinnertime. Mummy dah panggil, food is ready.

Got a message earlier at 11.11pm from Muna who told me that Kak Amee has safely given birth to a bouncing baby boy!!! And that he's got a full head of hair. So YEAYYYY!! Muna's an aunty now! Hehehee ohmygod I'm soooooooooooooo excited!
